Stacy stood outside his home. It has been fifteen years since it all ended. Fifteen years since anyone heard or last saw Hugh Schpenus. It was rumored that he survived the plane crash. Michael Cleveland who simply went by Cleveland was the last person to see him alive. Now a police chief, Cleveland runs the department like Stacy used to. He smiled quietly under the light from the full moon above. The November air was crisp. A mixture of vapor and cigarette smoke escaped his lungs as he exhaled. He lifted the half-smoked cigarette with two fingers and chuckled.
